Luke warm for the first time ever. Extremely little chicken this time compared to usual, and it was extremely dry. I have written about how this is my absolute favorite restaurant in town countless times, but something was just very off today. Even the fried rice tasted different and nowhere near as good as usual, either. Usually always a hit, but tonight was a miss

I loved the vibrant packaging and how neat everything was inside the packaging. I've looked at this business for almost a year now and decided to give it a shot and I can honestly say I regret waiting so long. I got the grilled chicken/noodles, jalapeño bomb, vegan roll, chicken tempura roll, and the sweet potato roll. The jalapeo bomb I HIGHLY recommend. I was surprised by the kick of the jalapeño but was happy it wasn't a mild pepper, and the sweetness of the sauces countered the heat a little bit. The chicken tempura roll had amazing flavor and the chicken was fresh! The only two things I'd recommend is the edamame being cooked a little longer because it was a little difficult to remove beans from pods but not that big of a deal. Also the sweet potato roll was a little dry and could've used maybe a slice of cucumber or some avocado added to it. It was just the crunchies and sweet potato and that was it and I was pretty sure it said it came with avocado and eel sauce, if I'm not mistaken. The two things I recommended would not bring my rating lower because this place is definitely a must.

I usually have a very positive experience with this place, but tonight was not a good night.
1. House Salad - This item is described as being a mix of fresh greens and an assortment of vegetables with a house dressing. What I actually received was a small serving container of warm spinach leaves, with no vegetables, smothered in a warm dressing that tasted like a variation of poppyseed. Who wants a salad that tasted like it sat under a heat lamp and became soggy from being drenched in dressing?
2. Rock and Roll - What is shown in the picture was different than what I was served. I had 8 pieces of sushi roll crammed into a serving container, so by the time it arrived, it looked more like a cake and no piece was discernable from the other. Further, crushing rice rolls together makes them stick together, so it was very difficult pulling them apart. There was no cream cheese or eel sauce I could taste, and if there was - it was such a small amount that it wouldn't make much difference. The shrimp tempura temperature was between cold and luke warm; the salad was actually warmer, and the scallops were cold.
3. CK NDL - This item was the only shining light in the darkness of this entire order, but it wasn't without its own technical issues. The chicken was not at all tender, it was very tough and overcooked. The noodles were completely stuck together, which was an indication that they were overcooked - however, the flavor was at least pleasant.
Ultimately for the money spent, this was a big let down and disappointment. I hope this is an isolated incident, and not a sign of things to come because you have food preparers taking shortcuts.

This time it was absolutely amazing and up to the quality that I am used to from here. I said I'd never give up on this place and I meant it, and I'm very glad that I hadn't. I miss being able to visit the store in person. Staff were always extremely friendly and polite. I truly hope their business continues to grow as it deserves to.

I order out a bit since I have no car and can only get groceries at certain times. This place is always amazing even if costs a little more than others. If you go with cheaper items you can feed your family quality food for a good price.
