Tonight was the first time we tried the Olde Brooke. We have eaten there in person several times and love the food. We order out a lot from various restaurants on DD and we were pleased to see that this restaurant was added. The food arrived in decent shape, but the packaging should have been much more securely sealed to show the customer that the food has not been tampered with and it keeps the food warmer overall. Of course there is something lost in travel with freshly prepared food. My Pasta Your Way was not prepared as scampi, but merely buttered penne pasta, for $30.00? If that wasn't bad enough, I added pan seared scallops and only got 4 for an additional $20.00. They were tasty, but small without seasoning. This meal was over $50 and nowhere near any type of value. The Steak & Cheese Spring Rolls were delicious as always, but not as good as when dining in restaurant. My husband had Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer which he liked and his entrée was the Fish & Chips. He liked it as well and thought it to be fresh and tasty with great breading. It comes with 3 pieces. The fries were also good. Overall, the Olde Brook Inn failed to meet all of our expectations this time and the prices are quite high for what is received.
