• 7/12/26Every visit to DC MUST include an Oohhs and Aahhs fix! I tried the seafood Mac for the first time (I usually stick with the shrimp and grits or grilled shrimp meal) and it was hitting on first bite. The lemonade-always good, the vanilla caramel crunch cake (first try) was tasty but the slice was so small and it came tossed around and melted a bit, but not soggy.

• 12/26/25I particularly want to acknowledge the customer service and be patience that the staff demonstrated while I placed my order. The food is delicious. The portions are right on target and the flavor and seasoning are soulful. I had baked turkey wings, crispy, brussels sprouts and cabbage with rice, onions and peppers. My only regret is I did not order the peach cobbler! Next time.

• todayI usually love Oohs and Aahs but this was not great. More cheese than noodles in the macaroni and cheese with a bland taste. The greens didn't taste like they were fully cooked. Only one of the whiting pieces were actually seasoned. Very disappointed.

• 4/29/26The fish (Crocker)was fried extra extra hard was very dry, the croaker looked like it was fried on old grease. Mac and cheese was not the same part was over cooked and burnt pieces, the whiting was small and disappointing quality. A drastic change in previous food, been my go to for over 10 years, but seems to be going downhill, or maybe it is the Georgia Ave location. I Was going to take the fish back the next day but did not have time. The veggies were good (collards and green beans), potato salad too much mayo, sweet potatoes were ok kinda dry. This food is so different wonder if recipes were changed.

• 6/6/26The food is always delicious and packaged well for DoorDash delivery. Staff at the Georgia Avenue restaurant and the U Street carryout are consistently professional courteous friendly and helpful. Overall great customer service
