This was literally the best meal weve had in a long time! We got steaks that were cooked perfectly, giant coconut shrimp, chili and veggies and everyrhing was just fantastic. The chili was so impressive. It had chunks of meat in it and great spice level. Best chili weve had in a minute!

One of the New York strip steaks was excessively fatty, with thick ribbons of unrendered fat running through nearly half of the 12-ounce cut. It lacked any real seasoning beyond a faint hint of salt, and the meat itself was chewy and bland. To make matters worse, it arrived noticeably undercooked—cool and bright red in the center—despite being ordered medium.
The sweet potato was equally disappointing. It was barely the size of a fist, shriveled with wrinkled skin, and served without butter or cinnamon. The inside was dry and stringy instead of soft and fluffy, making it feel like an afterthought rather than a proper side.
The Alice Springs Chicken Quesadilla was no better. The flavor was noticeably off and didn’t taste anything like it had on previous visits. It was bland, unbalanced, and simply wasn’t enjoyable.
Overall, the quality at Outback Steakhouse has declined significantly. It’s disappointing because this used to be one of our go-to family restaurants for an affordable weeknight dinner. Unfortunately, this visit fell well below expectations, and based on this experience, we won’t be ordering from Outback Steakhouse anytime soon.

Food was cold, portion sizes are absolutely ridiculous. Outback Center-Cut Sirloin* was dried out and like eating leather. No way the "steamed veggies" were steamed. They were tough and rubbery, like fresh out of a microwave. Baked potato was good but it's hard to mess that up. The little cup with 4 shreds of cheese, 2 crumbles of bacon bits, and one chive, was a nice touch. Shrimp was ok, but small. That was a horrible experience. The one time a week I can afford to pay for a good meal and I would have been more satisfied with a big Mac. Terrible, terrible, meal for $40.

The NEW! Tim Tam® Brownie Cake** was good, but a little over priced for the size they gave me. Both the Outback Center-Cut Sirloin* were cooked to perfection for both my wife and I, who like it cooked to different temps.

We love their food, but tonight was a real disappointment! The sweet potatoes were so tiny, it equaled about 3 bites (really). The burger was not well done, and the bloomin' chicken was about 1/2 the size it normally would have been on any other order. It did all taste great, but it cost a lot of money for such skimpy portions.
