🇬🇭🤎 First time trying peanut butter soup with fufu… and wow.
I can’t even lie—I was nervous at first because I’m usually an egusi girl. 😂 I almost played it safe, but I’m so glad I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried something different.
The soup was rich, flavorful, and so comforting. It honestly tasted like it was made with love—the kind of meal that feels like home. ❤️ The chicken pieces were HUGE, and the pepper definitely humbled me after a few bites. 😂🌶️
Egusi is still my #1 only because it’s a little easier to scoop up with the fufu, but this peanut butter soup definitely earned my respect. It was absolutely worth trying, and I’ll definitely be ordering it again.
Thank you for sharing a piece of your culture through food. This won’t be my last time exploring West African dishes. If you’ve been thinking about trying something different, let this be your sign—you might just find a new favorite. 👏🏾🤎

The okra soup is addictive! The taste never misses! This restaurant is my first time trying African cuisine and they've got me HOOKED! I eat here at least twice a week. The actual store is beautiful and a whole vibe to dine is as well. The food is perfect! It's a nice place to try something new. And if you go in, it's a nice spot for date night or friends night out.

I loved the jollof so much. It was hot and flavorful. Pleasantly surprised. The samosas were so crispy and had a good amount of filling inside. I wasn't sure what to expect since it was empty this day, but I don't care, I will definitely be back.

OMG holy amaze balls! The freshness! The flavors! Would order again and again! The Egusi Stew with fufu was so delicious! the portion size looked a little on the smaller side, but with the fufu, it was very filling and lasted 2 meals for me, so it was worth the $22. It's a learning curve to get the right ratio of fufu to Egusi. Such as too much fufu can drown out the rich flavors of the Egusi. Also the Samosas (2) were so yummy as well! The meat was seasoned perfectly. The sauce that came with it though was more like a garlic chilli sauce than what was pictured, it still tasted great, I just wish I could have tried the other sauce as well. Overall, I absolutely loved the stew and samosas. they tasted fresh and not like they had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. I will definitely be ordering the Egusi Stew and Samosas (2) again. (In the pic, there is only 1 samosa bc I ate the other before taking a pic.. oops lol)
