The first Panda Inn in Pasadena, California, was opened in 1973 by Andrew and his father, master chef ming-tsai cherng.
It all started with their desire to create classic mandarin and szechwan cuisine…
Panda Inn food is absolutely wonderful. Although Panda Express is a partner business, it offers a tasty but limited menu. Panda Inn restaurant offers menu options leagues above the average Chinese restaurants.

I usually give Panda a 5 star rating, but on this latest order they decreased the siz of the family order, decreased the number of shrimp and increased the price. Either increase the price or decrease the size, but do not do both as that is double dipping in my book!

We have ordered many various Doordash places and this is our only review thus far. This Chinese food is barely edible. Every dish, besides the shrimp, had a burned flavor . In addition, the fried rice was visually unappealing (way way too dark), the garlic spinach was super bland, and the egg soup had way too much sesame oil flavoring. This meal was meant for two. We ended up throwing away 80 % of it. It cost $95!!!!! The only item that was worth considering was the complimentary fortune cookies. This restaurant has a 4.6 rating. WTF?

The beef was tender and also the vegetables but the flavor was not up to par for the Panda Inn.

This is the second time Panda Inn forgets items in my order. The Spicy Thai Salad arrived with no beef, which made it highly overpriced. Las time they left out a whole item. Pretty disappointing quality control. Too bad because the food is tasty if you actually get it.
