The Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad, in my opinion, is one of if not the best Strawberry Chicken salads I've ever had. The full is big and the half is quite a good size, with plenty of fruit. The Poppyseed dressing is excellent.
the Smokehouse BBQ Chicken was excellent, and the Oatmeal Raisin with Berries Cookie was yuuummmyyy!
Highly recommend!

The food and taste No complaints except for the price of the mac&cheese and soup was over $18.00! Taste good but Mac&Cheese very runny. The portion size is not worth the cost. The salad was the best salad she ever ate.

I'll start off by saying this. There is little to no "bang for your buck". While the sandwich itself was above average, the size for what I paid was almost unacceptable. Would I pay $18 for another ~5 and a half inch sandwich? The odds do not look good.
I have had as good elsewhere for the same amount of money, yet a fairly sizeable portion.

I bought the Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup (bowl), Autumn Squash Soup (cup), and the NEW Harvest Medley Salad to hopefully help me feel better, as I wasn't feeling well today. I never usually eat the food here as I can't eat the sandwiches due to being on a diet with no carbs/little carbs. Both soups were VERY flavorful and I highly recommend them(especially if you are sick). BUT the portions are small. I found the salad to be a bit troublesome with the stems still attached to the arugula, and the nuts. I am 66 and someone older I feel would definitely have a problem chewing this. The stems should be off the arugula. Even with the dressing(which was put on the side-nice touch), the salad was still a bit dry. The salad portion was small also for the price. Everything was fresh and tasted great!

This is my first experience trying food from Panera Bread. I wanted a good sandwich, and perhaps some fresh fruit. In the end I was happy I could order both---a Toasted Italiano and a bowl of Fresh Fruit perfectly fit the bill. Then quite by accident, I discovered I could also order a Canada Dry Ginger Ale beverage which I absolutely love.
I had browsed the beverage menu first as I usually do, and none of the choices appealed to me. I then moved on to consider the sandwich options. The Toasted Italiano sandwich was particularly interesting and all of the ingredients seemed perfect for my dinner, so I ordered a half sandwich with a fruit bowl as a dessert to accompany my sandwich. As I scrolled further down the sandwich page of options for the Toasted Italiano the Ginger Ale caught my eye. I was very surprised to find it as I have endlessly searched other menus but it is never offered. I clicked the box and sent it to my cart, making sure to order the large size.
Curious about how I missed seeing it on the beverage menu I returned to check those options again. Twice. Sure enough I had not missed it. It just was not listed on the menu. An oversight by DoorDash perhaps, or whoever created the menu. I felt lucky to have caught the error and hoped the listing on the sandwich page was correct. Only time will tell.
With my order placed it was only a short wait for it to arrive. And hooray! I received the longed for Ice Cold Canada Dry Ginger Ale. It practically glowed like a beacon. I took a sip and it was so refreshing. You see I have been in the hospital and it's been 10 months since I was able to have one. The hospital only offered an off brand, which I rejected as only Canada Dry Ginger Ale will satisfy and soothe my thirst.
Next I pulled the perfectly warmed sandwich out of the bag with the anticipation of a child opening a Christmas present. The perfect sandwich before me looked and smelled delicious---like a sandwich I could only find at my favorite New York Deli. I took a bite and the crunch of the toasted bread was like music to my ears. I ate slowly savoring every bite of the fresh meats, cheese, and accompaniments, thinking about the delicious delights left behind in New York so many years ago that now only lived in my memory.
Finally, I opened the Fruit Bowl---fresh juicy strawberries, blueberries, pineapple slices, and sweet smelling cantaloupe called to me---every bite perfectly ripe, juicy, appreciated, and enjoyed.
Today, every person I crossed paths with heard about my delicious dinner of delights from Panera. One person I know approached me late in the day saying she heard about my sandwich from Panera Bread and wanted to check which sandwich it was, as she planning to give it a try. That made me smile with delight. It's true, there is power in word of mouth.
Thank you Panera Bread, I'll be back.
