I've been ordering from here for years now because their food always hits the spot. The Oxtails are unbeatable, theyre always super tender and flavorful and the rice on bottom absorbs the flavors so well, with portions this big its definitely worth the price. Their Greens are also super good, they're spice and slightly sweet and always have big chunks of meat. Also getting a bogo deal on the mac and cheese always feels nice. Don't skip the Cucumber Lemonade, its light and fresh, the perfect addition to an already stellar meal. Best soul food in town!

I loved the pot liquor in the greens. The greens were seasoned and balanced. I had the oxtail and while they were tender I was expecting the Caribbean (curry) but I am from Washington DC, so it was good but bland. The dirty rice was a little bland; it did not have that Louisiana kick that I was expecting. The biggest surprise was the Cucumber Lemonade.
THAT was refreshing. Overall, the food was good and will try the cornbread next. It was a lot of food so I will turn it into a green gumbo tomorrow. Not bad..these are just my thoughts.

Ordered the oxtails from Papa What You Cooking and they were hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Tasted like a home cooked meal. You can tell it’s real soul food. And the kids stay going crazy for the cookies!

I'd never had greens before and I didn't really like them, they were seasoned well but more bitter than I expected, the rice and gravy was very tasty, but the picture and description led me to think there was meat in it and there wasn't. The cornbread was huge and tasty. The caramel cake was delicious a the cucumber lemonade was refreshing and perfect. I would reorder from here and try some new stuff next time.

So happy to see this place on door dash. The Oxtails is one of the best dishes I've ever had, the flavor is amazing. The Baked Chicken Wings are also so good and seasoned very well.
