So, I got the jumbo "Louisiana" Andouille Sausage & Seafood Gumbo to take home. There was only 1 piece of okra. (which ithought was the base of gumbo )
So, I added a pack of frozen gumbo and reboiled 10 min . Plenty of meat just the big pieces of celery and bell pepper was too much for me. . Needed something else. Still tasted perfect even with me adding the extra veggies. Will get again!

Everything was over cooked! fried so hard you could not eat it! The shrimp, crab and catfish tasted the same! The oysters were so muddy tasting it was gross! The Seafood Platter had 2 oysters 3 shrimp 1 crab and 1 catfish filet and a half pound of soggy fries! The calamari and Octopus tasted like stamped out shark! DISGUSTING! They were out of bread at 6pm as well! Terrible service and nasty to boot!

The puréed potatoes were pretty watery. And the sauces were left off of the calamari. For what you pay at this restaurant, the quality just could have been better.

I paid 35 dollars for this salad and there was less than 2 oz of shrimp and crabmeat. I live in houston and this salad is huge. This is a ripoff

Loved my lunch/dinner from Pappadeaux. The Fried Shrimp Combo & "Louisiana" Seafood Gumbo hit the spot. Superb!!!
