Exceptional everytime!!!! I ordered the country plate-fish, wings and two sides-Mac & cheese, collard greens. Plus a pulled pork egg roll!!! Oh my goodness!!! More than enough food for the price and sooo delicious!!! Wish I ordered that oh so good purple sweet potatoe pie or that bread pudding!!!!!

the gizzards were tender. The macaroni and Mac and Cheese and Collards were seasoned well. also a good size portion. I love and appreciate the containers they came in. My negatives are that I didn't get any cutlery, napkins, ketchup, hot sauce. And they don't have rolls, biscuits or cornbread. At least not on the app. I would order here again

Love, love Pauline's food! The fish was fried to perfection and the bread pudding was soooooooo good!!! This is my weekly treat!!!! Also those egg rolls are sooooo delicious, this time it collards and chicken. Yummy!!!!

I dined in on a Saturday afternoon for a girl's day out... I had the Short Ribs with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. The short ribs were cooked to perfection, very flavorful and tender...just about to fall off the bone. The gravy was very savory. A spoonful or two more for the sides would have been appreciated. I only ate one short rib and took the other home, but had no green beans left for them and only a dollop of the potatoes left. I ordered gizzards and a pork roll to go. The gizzards were good but a little too salty; I'd have preferred a crispier fry, but would order again. The PORK ROLL was the true surprise! I'd buy a half dozen of those to freeze for a quick occasional snack.

I’m so glad I stumbled upon Pauline’s. The food was absolutely AMAZING. This is true Southern comfort food with a fresh, modern twist. Chef and owner Tim is as kind and warm as he is talented; you feel like you’re his guest, not a customer.
Every bite was a revelation. The corn pudding was divine, rich, creamy, subtly sweet, and unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. And the egg rolls? Mind-blowing. Crispy on the outside and bursting with flavors that danced between savory and soulful. I’ve had egg rolls all over, and I’ve never had anything like these.
I also tried their fried fish, mac & cheese, and collards. Everything was seasoned perfectly and served with care. You can tell this is food made from the heart, not just the kitchen.
If you’re in the Chesterfield North Chesterfield or Richmond area and you love comfort food done right, drop everything and go to Pauline’s. This is easily the best food I’ve had locally, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!!!
