I'm skeptical of reviews that say the best of something in town.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that these reviews are accurate about Paya Thai Fish & Chips.  The chowder is wonderful and the fish, hush puppies, fried foods in general are tasty and obviously cooked in clean oil.  The cocktail sauce has just the right kick of horseradish.  My new favorite restaurant.  I highly recommend.

I ordered the 3 Piece Halibut and Chips and was hopeful that it'd be good but it's better than good, it's great! I love fish and chips but it's a dish that varies hugely from restaurant to restaurant so you never know what to expect. The halibut was flaky and perfectly cooked with a breading that was crispy and delicious. The fries were plentiful and golden brown. They also gave me a bunch of tartar sauce, which I appreciate! This is absolutely my favorite fish and chips shop in Washington state. Highly recommend!

Super fresh and wonderfully seasoned. The halibut is to die for, the scallops are as well. Everything is packaged so it gets to your door still crispy. The portions are always super generous as well.

Excellent! taste like homemade starter and a good horseradish kick to the cocktail sauce. prefectely fried seafood, the chowder is perect thick NW style. The fries are on point as well. Portions are big aND the food is fresh, highly recommend 👌

the cod was tender and perfectly fried.  The shrimp U2 Shrimp and Chips  were delicious and that cocktail sauce had a nice kick.
