You definitely need to ask them to smother your Al pastor torta with grilled onions. This kind of joy without having to break the law is such a treasure in my life. And these tacos are S T U F F E D with meat. It's unreal how flavorful and generous the portions are. And in this economy in this state, you can't afford to not eat here.

The breakfast burritos are really good. But my favorite item on the menu is the asada sope! Absolutely delicious! The best I've ever had. The asada is full of flavor and perfectly tender. I've had nothing but friendly, efficient service every time I've ordered from Peña's 1 & 2.

So now I'm addicted to carnitas fries. You should be too! Huge portion size, fresh off the grill. Flavor explosion in every bite. Makes me feel loved. I'm gladly putting their kids through college. God bless Peñas Taqueria!

I'm always on the lookout for a taco truck that serves more than the same old-same old, and Penas did not disappoint. I haven't had a sope this good since I left LA. Fantastic food, great quality-and get the sope!
