• 1/7/24Incredibly conflicted. Learned about Peno because I was on vacation in Wilmington and would order from the store near Oleander Dr. I loved it and was so excited to come here and try it. Despite some disappointing reviews, I took a chance. The first thing I want to say is the portions for this store compared to the Wilmington is downright pathetic. There was hardly any lettuce or chicken on my Classic Gyro Sandwich. Thankfully, I ordered a cup of Tzatziki Yogurt Sauce because there was hardly any of that either. French Fries were also a smaller portion. The only reason I rated a 4 instead of a 3 is because the chicken was delicious. As others reviews have said, it's cut in odd chunks and not slithers like other Penos, but it was phenomenal. Much better than the Oleander store. I'm conflicted. Gyro is a dollar more here and you get less, but for that chicken, I just might be back.

• 3/12/22Chicken was tasteless, hard to chew, & rice looked and tasted like it was from yesterday. It was definitely not worth $15-16. The salad was extremely small even for a side salad and was made with lettuce garnish & mushy tomatoes. The gyro was very bland & was more wrap than filling. Not worth the money especially $45 for 2 entrees & 1 grape leave.

• 4/8/24The taste was ok, but the Greek bowl had too much lettuce, less other vegetables.
I ordered 4 of the grape leaf wraps, which were small and was charged for each one.
Never received my orders of Baklava, 4 orders. the tomatoe, avocado salad was so small, the 8 Oz. had more lettuce than avocado and tomatoes. two bites or less, gone!

• 6/20/23I've never had Peno before this week & this is my 3rd time ordering so far! The food is AMAZING! And Fresh! And the sauces... they are all absolutely DELICIOUS! The Casado Bowl & The Greek Bowl are both great! They cook the lamb to perfection! ORDER! You won't be disappointed!

• 10/13/22Greek salad is small for the price and I wish you could add meat to it. The Casada bowl is very good but the tomato avocado salad that comes in it had literally 2 tiny pieces of avocado. The jalapeño hummus is delicious as well as the tzatziki.
