CONSISTENCY!! so about a week ago, my mother ordered dogs tails, steamed cabbage and rice. It was so good that I literally couldn't keep my mind off of it so today when my man asked me what I wanted to eat I told him oxtails from Pete's and it is just as good as it was the day that I first tried it consistency is a very big deal for me because it's always a hit or miss with a lot of these places.. My food came fast and fresh.. steamed cabbage as well as the rice and beans was a nice portion, but I did order the large on the oxtails and while they are very tender, as well as flavorful, I didn't get very many but no complaints , because it is delicious.. but I would absolutely recommend getting the large size

very little cabbage and the little i got had huge hard inedible pieces. very small portion of chicken for a large and 2 pieces ha literally 2 snall bits of meon them,mostly bone! plantains and patty tasted old and reheated. very bad experience this time!!

I got the oxtail with white rice, pasta salad and a Jamaican patty.
I am an Enas fans so this is my first time trying some place new!
Although I still like Enas the best, this place is definetly on my list if I ever want something different!
I did NOT like the pasta salad. Wouldn't order that again.
I LOVED the Jamaican patties. I've tried patties from many other places and Enas has always had the best ones but when it comes to these patties, I give Pete's the #1 spot now! I wish I ordered more LOL.

I had high hopes because I heard good things about this place. Mac & cheese was bland. Rice & peas were mushy like they'd been sitting all day. They put carrots in the cabbage and the carrot flavor overpowered the cabbage. Jerk chicken was so salty I couldn't even eat it. Oxtails and corn on the cob were the only edible items. Maybe they were having an off day. It'll be awhile before I try again if at all.
