Mushroom cheesesteak with white American and side of whiz for takeout is a big help to reduce sogginess. As a previous Philly resident who has dabbled in many cheesesteaks this one is the best I've found San Francisco. Solid wings too!

Got the 12" classic philly with cheese whiz, hot and sweet peppers, and garlic aioli, and it was amazing, best philly I've ever had in SF.
