Making gourmet pierogies on a daily basis takes time, which is why we take satisfaction in not skipping any of the 16 steps in our family recipes—recipes that my grandmother taught me.
After one meal, I can easily say this is one of my favorite restaurants in the area and well worth the money. The garlic & herb pierogi and the potato pancakes were delicious. This is the ideal comfort food, perfect for a cold winter night. I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Soggy and old Small Homemade Pierogie Plate (6 Pierogie). Kielbasa & Kraut Plate missing mustard and had very little taste. Also very very little sour cream, even when I paid for extra. Sad, I had high hopes for this place based on reviews.

Pirogies were deliscious!! The Spicy Chicken Stacker was also fantastic - SO fantastic tasting that I ignored the fact that the chicken was completely dry, rubbery, and hard to chew... you guys microwave these or what? Again- amazing flavor- pirogjes perfect. Fix your chicken lol

Tasted homemade and delivered quickly. The prices on DoorDash are a little high considering the plates do not come with a side or a full portion of sauerkraut. I may have overlooked the option when adding it to my plate but I would prefer a side of kielbasa rather than in slices on top of the pierogi. Cucumber salad would also be a welcomed addition to the menu. That said, I would eat from here again. There's too few options for Polish cuisine in Philly and I'm grateful to have The Pierogie Kitchen as an option in our neighborhood.

very disappointed. The pierogies were limp and tough. The potatoe pancakes were tiny balls not pancakes. And the presentation of the kielbasa and sauerkraut was not pleasing. Nothing presented was like what is shown on the Door Dash site. This was the first time ordering already prepared and didnt enjoy it at all.
