When in NOLA I have to try various gumbos and this doesn't disappoint.the duck is different but hood, there is a comfortable about of spice to know youre in NOLA.

the Duck & Andoullie Gumbo was awesome. great portion and flavor. the French Fries didn't look like the picture but we're very tasty and it was a lot. there was tasty ketchup that tasted homemade and even barbecue sauce! I'd definitely order these again. the Brisket Tacos were overpriced but tasted okay... although not much of a 'Taco'.

The gumbo was not appetizing. I asked for no rice or at least rice on the side. I got neither request. Once I looked at the gumbo I realized why that might be. I think, instead of adding rice when served, they add the rice and keep the whole thing warm together. Consequently, the rice gets overcooked and turns to mush. Also, the gumbo has okra in it which is not in the description. Not everyone likes okra, so it would be nice to know from the description. Finally, it is so spicy that the gumbo flavor gets overpowered and the only thing you really taste is the heat.

The pork tacos were DELICIOUS! Except that they were super tiny. I just wish they were bigger! But amazing BBQ! Awesome!
