Pings is the BEST Chinese food in Marin! The potstickers have the best flavor, a touch of ginger mixed with the pork
The cashew chicken and the veggies in it are always so fresh and the sauce is delicious!
This is the first time I tried their eggplant and I'm in love!
The rice is always perfect too, fluffy!

Decided to pick up. Reviews mentioned long lead time needed. Called 5:40. Told ready 6:15-6:30. Super busy lot. Had to ask where Pings was as it's out of lot sight. Drive halfway thru Northgate One lot. Park & walk under arched Mall sign. It's on the right, next to Starbucks, after the circular outdoor seating areas. Went in at 6:20. Ready at cashier station, lined up with about 8 other bags. Super friendly owner. I injured my leg & temporarily used cane. Offered help to car, but so busy inside I declined, but appreciated. Food delish: small wonton soup could feed 2 with plenty of everything included; orange chicken very good; oyster beef w/veg had yummy sauce & most tender meat ever & plenty of it; chow mein super tasty. All portions large. Only criticism is the size of prep cut. Too big cuts of bok choy, carrots, broccoli. Hard to eat as needed knife to cut smaller--especially difficut with soup. As for chow mein...very tasty BUT not regular chow mein noodles but thickness of udon. That was unexpected and not what we wanted. Definitely the best of 3 Chinese tried in San Rafael so far (Panda ok but much lower quality; Yet Wah has pricey, inedible food as declared by 6 unfortunate diners). Pings reasonably priced as we two had enough for the next night. Definitely ordering again!

The hot and sour soup was awesome, the garlic Princess Chicken was phenomenal, the egg fired Egg Fried Rice was plain looking, but the flavor actually blew me away, really tasting the fresh wok flame grill in the best way will be ordering again soon also pot stickers and sauce was just as good as the rest!

While none of it was horrible, it wasn't good. The orange chicken was very mushy almost soggy, the green beans seemed old, not crunchy... the chow mein was fine but didn't really have that much flavor.. the fried rice was meh. And the won tons were awful, we didn't eat them. DJ Chinese Cuisine in larkspur is 10x better. They do give big portions at Pings... won't order here again.

Tofu dish included about 4 pieces of actual tofu and mostly cabbage and liquid leaking through box. Was also quite bland.
Spicy mustard was too liquidy and vinegar heavy.
