The food was very good but a little cold through no fault of the restaurants since it's in my doordasher an hour to get here. The chicken was seasoned well and we had no complaints about the barbecue sandwich either.

The dark meat chicken is so moist and has a nice crunchy crust. It's downhome southern,how it was fried at my home growing up. The fries are good but I love the puffs, okra, and corn. Pollards is the best.

Pollards is a favorite for locally owned options! Everything is always hot, delicious and consistent. True home style country cooking. Don't forget the puffs! Portions are perfect and the prices are great

My coworker told me about this place and bought me some one day. I have been hooked since then! The chicken is awesome. Best ive had in Norfolk. The 3 Piece Chicken with 2 Vegetables & Puffs Dinner the puffs are my favorite

Fried Chicken Livers Dinner: The livers were sparsely coated. The baked beans measured two tablespoons. The greens were not covered properly and soaked through all the liver and puffs.
