We (2 adults) get the Four Piece Special with mixed (2 pieces baked and 2 pieces fried) chicken. The fried chicken has a lighter and more flavorful coating vs what you'd expect at KFC, et al. The baked chicken is tender and juicy. We like the Coleslaw - finely chopped and not overly sauced. Mac and cheese was a bit salty, but overall good cheesy-yumminess. Thumbs up!

This is my first time trying Pollo Campero. The grilled chicken was my favorite. It's so juicy and flavorful. The beans have a thick, rich broth with a heavy cumin flavor which I like, but if you're not a cumin fan, I would steer clear. Coleslaw is nice and crunchy, although a little overdressed in my opinion. The plantains were caramelized, sweet and tender.

I wanted to like the campero bowl but it just wasn't good. Barely any chicken, three leaves of lettuce, a tiny scoop of guacamole, and the Campero beans and the feta cheese didn't mix well. That and when I ordered the Yuca Fries they didn't come with the sauce. Also the Chocolate Chip Cookie I got was burnt and not edible.

Wow, those empanadas are FIRE! Also dashed the 4-piece fried chicken which was very good, but the empanadas stole the show! Food was hot, and the order was correct. This was my first time ordering from Pollo Campero but definitely will be ordering again!

We didnt get what we ordered. We orders grilled chicken and we got fried and the chicken asked for white meat and got dark. The chicken that arrived was old, dried and over cooked. Very disappointed. Will not try their food again.
