• 6/23/22Pono never disappoints! The portion sizes are hearty and the food is flavorful. Love that the rice comes with some seasoning on it. Best chicken katsu I've had in a long time. Try it with the spicy aioli, it's bomb!

• 12/20/25The bowls are awesome. Left a mixed review and the last few times getting pono everything I complained about has been fixed. Loved the veggies and portion size of the chicken in the teriyaki bowls. Spam musubi is just peak food can't really say much else.

• 3/3/26I have literally ordered the same sandwich, SPICY KATSU SANDO from the downtown location two days in a row. It was so good I wanted it a third day but that location was closed. I decided to order from this location and was so excited. The chicken was rubbery and it wasn't fried as much. Kinda bland but a big size. I won't order from this location for this dish but certainly for others.

• 8/14/23I love Pono so much! The katsu is super yummy and always cooked perfectly. I eat pretty much everything from here and I never have had something I didn't like! They're fast, friendly and never mess up my order!

• 6/22/22Pono has consistently good quality food with large portion sizes. The Mac salad is to die for and the Kailua pork can't be beat
