Hidden gem. The food here is carefully prepared and the flavors are excellent. The soup broth is sublime. The papaya sald, nutty chicken, 35. California Curry are favorites. The Westlake Roll is deliciously healthy tasting. Love this place.

neither was very exciting and not the Pookie's quality that I knew years ago.
the spring rolls were borderline terrible. the soup was all broth with three shrimp and exactly one mushroom, and there wasn't much of it about a cup and a half.
the flavor of the broth was pretty good, but nothing exciting.
however the shrimps that were in the soup were large and delicious.

Prik-King is amazing. Have tried with chicken and pork, but the red curry sauce with the green beans really makes it work! Chopped meat noodles was not bad flavor wise, but the beef was too chewy for my tastes would get chicken instead next time. The pineapple fried rice and pad see iw are Thai stables and pookies does them as well as anyone! Try something different like the Prik-King and what a name for a dish!

We love pookies! Curries are great - jade curry especially - and of course pad 21. Pad Thai. Always fresh and a good amount of food.

We ordered two orders of the yellow curry and one order of chicken pad Thai and it was so so good! I eat pad Thai from a lot of different Thai restaurants and this is probably one of my favorites! The curry is the perfect amount of coconut and spices, next time I'm going to get it spicy!
