I am normally a big proponent of popeyes, but my order today showed how cheap they are getting.
1 the chicken is being sourced differently now. you can visually see and taste the difference. its significantly smaller and you can taste the abuse and bruises in the meat.
2 the biscuit puck has always had a bad rap about it being dry. but i gave it a pass in the past because at least i can taste the buttery flavor they glazed on it. today's biscuit, I literally couldn't finish it. I gave the rest to the dog.

The spicy chicken sandwich didn’t taste good this time. It was surprisingly bland even though we ordered the spicy version, and it didn’t have the usual flavor or kick expected from Popeyes. The coleslaw also tasted a bit funky/off, so we didn’t enjoy that either. Overall, the food quality was disappointing for this order.

You can never really go wrong with their Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. The bread is always soft, and the chicken itself can be very juicy. I think it's my go-to meal when I need a quick treat.

delicious but spicy! the dippers and sandwhich are ok in spice level but the wings are the spiciest. they are sooo good though!! great seasoning
