Ordered the Festive Family Big Box, great value for great food! Food was hot and fresh. Chicken was crispy, the Chocolate Chip Biscuits I added was warm and sweet, everything was what you you would want from Popeyes. This location is running on all cylinders and I hope it never changes!

Apparently, I should have been suspicious when I saw the buy-one-get-one-free deal.
I ordered two boxes of chicken from this Popeyes in Pinole. Between both boxes, there was only one drumstick and one wing—the rest were chicken breasts. That alone wouldn’t have bothered me if the chicken had actually been good.
One breast in the first box had a strange texture that made me question whether it was fully cooked, even though the coating was extremely hard. The other breasts were dry, tough, and had a faint off smell. It honestly made me wonder whether the promotion was being used to get rid of chicken that shouldn’t have been served. The drumstick was barely edible, and we ended up throwing away everything else.
I was happy to see Popeyes open near my home, but a deal is no excuse to serve food of this quality. Customers deserve better than paying for a meal that ends up in the trash. This was the worst fried chicken I’ve ever had.
I truly hope the owner takes this seriously. If you want the community to support your business, you need to respect your customers and care about what you serve.

Generously large tenders. Unfortunately 3 were undercooked on the extra meaty part. Mac & cheese was ok. Biscuit was also ok. Apple pie were the bomb. Covered in cinny sugar. Strawberry was also tasty.

this place is terrible. the shrimp and tenders were soo dry and chewy, tossed it. Mac n cheese was cold and gritty. ordered a gallon iced tea, they only gave me 3 larges.. that's like half a gallon. no straws for the drinks, chicken in the sandwich was oil soaked. like they hot dunked it after it had been fried and drained already. this place won't last. Cole slaw was good tho.

Fried Pickles come with a dipping sauce, I chose ranch. I also added an extra ranch for $0.29 for one of my coworkers to use on their sandwich. We only received one ranch. The fried Pickles are amazing, but the fry container that they come in wasn't even halfway filled.
