• 12/5/22Popeyes chicken is really good ( but it taste even better in the U.S. ?) It's really juicy and the skin is super crispy. Hot or mild , both are delicious. I love their biscuits and they're especially good with butter and honey. I like mash potatoes but wish the gravy didn't have chili's in it, that's a negative. The Mac n' cheese is good but wish the cheese was thicker, it's a bit too runny. Cajun fries are good, crispy and lots of flavor, poutine is good, rice and beans are okay, I'm used to homemade Mexican beans and rice so I'm probably being too picky. I do wish that they had drinks other than bottled pop, chocolate milk at least? It can be a bit pricy when ordering for a large family , I usually get a family meal with 1 extra side for 3 of us for around $50.

• 6/29/26I've given this branch multiple tries already but the chicken is always overcooked and dry (even the skin is dark with a mild bitter burnt taste) and the biscuit is undercooked in the middle with that slight metallic raw batter taste. Compared to the other Popeye's branches, this specific one (17th ave) served very poorly prepared food.

• 11/6/25Popeyes is the best fried chicken in my opinion. It's always fresh and crispy and just downright delicious. Great portions for a great value. My family's fav, everyone is satisfied after eating here.

• 11/19/23Ordered the Chicken Tender Platter (5 Pieces) and it arrived Luke warm at best (its a minute away from my place). The chicken tenders are so small and they were not crispy. The Cajun fries were sooo awful and had no cajun flavor on them (ive had the cajun fries here a handful of times recently). Extremely disappointed in this popeyes location.

• 2/26/22Beans and rice, my favorite side - which I bragged to my friends about, were cold, stale and bland! Tasted like they had been left on the counter for 2 weeks, how embarrassing after talking them up and ultimately disappointing and wasteful as no one ate them! Also, the chicken was - I'd say nearly 30% breading by volume, with only a little meat. I LOVE chicken skin with crispy breading but that was a bit much even for me! I was also shocked at how little food you actually get for that exorbitant amount of money, it was barely enough to feed us 3 adults a single meal whereas if I had bought groceries for that amount we would have been fed for over a week! NOT impressed at all. If KFC was anywhere near me or actually delivered to my home address, I would Never buy from Popeyes again!
