About 3 years ago, because of a sharp decline in quality and service, I had given up on Popeye's. In a moment of 'everyone deserves a second chance' I tried again. May the GBD gods forgive me. I was blown away by the improvement! The sparrow-sized parts are gone! The bland, pasty rice is gone! The Cajun Kitch is back! I got the5 piece tenders meal with, mac n cheese and read bean and rice. The chicken tenders were dryer than the biscuit and they literally were the size of fingers. the mac n cheese was nothing butooked cheese wth like 20 noodles. I also got a sweet tea which tasted sour and it was hot with zero ice. popeyes in general has become the worst fast food fried chicken.

the boneless wings were awful and barely had sauce. The additional ranch was not included on the side even though I added it. The wings were small, dry, cold, and again barely any of the sauce on them.

I gotta buy one get one deal for six piece wings meaning I should get 12 I got seven and one of them was just a really hard nugget that they must've grabbed off of the bottom of their fryer. The chicken itself is very underwhelming and tiny portion would not recommend.

It was a good value but I got the Honey Lemon pepper flavor was not good, way to much. It wasn't a glaze or sauce as much as it was just chicken sitting in super sweet lemon water. Tasted like if someone melted a lemon meringue and dipped chicken in it.
