• 11/22/25I had the New York hot pastrami sandwich. It was the best hot pastrami sandwich I have ever had! No need to go to New York to get a good pastrami sandwich. The sandwich was huge and the pastrami was fresh flavorful and tender. I will order it again.

• 6/10/26I'm not one to ever leave reviews but this one deserves it. The Chicken Noodle soup is as close to my mother's that I've had in years! Definitely homemade, perfect for anyone who is under the weather. I ordered the half NY Hot Pastrami and it is simply delicious. Perfect amount of mustard! Will definitely order again!

• 11/13/25I absolutely love the food at this restaurant. My favorite is the Split Pea with Ham, it's the best comfort food. I'm also a fan of their Chicken Noodle. their Thanksgiving and Gourmet Chicken Salad sandwiches are also great. I prefer them in the pita poket to the bun but it's still good. I'll of course order again. The Portland Kettle is a go-to of mine. The Tater Tot Casserole reminds me of something my mother used to make when I was young so that reminds me of home. lastly but not least the Gorgonzola/Walnut salad is delicious and always fresh. The large portion is a great size, the regular is even a decent sized portion but I prefer to get the larger portion.

• 12/20/25The ham sandwich was wonderful; so much ham (tender and juicy)! I loved the chicken noodle soup. It should be called chicken & vegetable soup with noodles. The soup is a meal in itself: mostly chicken and veggies with a few noodles. So good. Not too salty either. You might want to add some salt. That is fine. Better than having a soup that is too salty. You can always add more salt. Good food, consistent, well-packaged, excellent quality and flavor! The cornbread is delicious too! Cannot beat Portland Kettle.
