The Family Box was amazing! The chicken strips were so juicy and soft in the inside and crunchy in the outside. The sauces were packed with flavor too! Seriously one of the best chicken I have had in the Boston area!

Mid outta ten.
Solo Box was a smaller portion, but fine for the price. Chicken was fried well, but pretty greasy. The fries were generic crinkles. Spicy Pepper sauce was actually spicy, but watery and bland. Fresh Coleslaw portion was woeful for $4.50 (that's a ridiculous price, it's literally mostly cabbage??). It was oversalted, as well.
Would not order again, tbh.

I had high expectations coming into this visit, especially given the amount of hype around their so-called “addicting Peruvian seasoning.” As someone who is Peruvian and has tried fried chicken across many cities and states, I was genuinely excited to experience something that represented Peruvian flavor well. Unfortunately, this fell very short of that promise.
To be clear, I did not taste anything that resembled Peruvian seasoning or flavor. The chicken itself lacked seasoning and depth entirely. It wasn’t inedible, but it was extremely bland, relying heavily on sauces to carry any flavor at all.
The breading was another major drawback. It’s unlike any traditional fried chicken breading I’ve had, and not in a good way. The texture and flavor of the breading completely overpowered the chicken, leaving an odd aftertaste rather than enhancing it.
The fries were also disappointing — bland, under-seasoned, and seemingly missing even basic salt. For a spot centered around fried chicken, this felt like a missed opportunity.
While I was thankful to have sauce to dip the chicken in, the portions were very small and priced quite high for what you get. The featured special mayo sauce, in particular, was underwhelming and actually made the chicken taste even more muted rather than elevating it.
I don’t typically enjoy fast-food fried chicken, but even comparing this to places like Popeyes or KFC — which I consider a lower tier of chicken — those options were noticeably more flavorful than what I had here.
Overall, this experience was a letdown, especially given the price point and the cultural branding around Peruvian flavor. I was genuinely disappointed and would not return. If possible, I would have requested a refund based on the quality and lack of flavor.
