It was the incredible pizza that turned me into a regular at Primo YYC, but the great surprise was just how incredible the Baked Meatballs with Mozzarella and the Arancini really are. On a day that I didn't feel like pizza or pasta, these appetizers made a delicious lunch.

Took full advantage of the varied menu and ordered a few different items.
The sautéed prawns starter was delicious, wasn’t overly garlicky and the butter and wine sauce complimented the prawns really well.
The portion size for the starter was perfect.
We chose a couple of main courses, the first being the pepperoni pizza which was brilliant. It had plenty of toppings, it wasn’t oily at all and the base held all the toppings really well.
The wild mushroom ravioli tasted amazing and was as filling as I hoped it would be but still left enough room for the New York Cheesecake which was fruity with the strawberry sauce and didn’t overpower the vanilla at all.
For the sides we ordered the fries which were well cooked and perfectly seasoned and the garden salad which was fresh and accompanied by a dressing which was flavourful.
First time ordering but will definitely order again and be happy to do so.

I ordered the Ham & Pineapple pizzas, but unfortunately, they only gave me 5 small chunks and a few pieces of ham. The pizza was extremely chewy, even tougher than beef jerky. It was not a pleasant eating experience. As for the pasta, it had a good taste, but there was an excessive amount of sauce, making it more like a soup than a pasta dish.

I had ordered lunch for my office staff: a couple of pizzas, meatballs with mozzarella, salad and garlic toast! I was a little early but the kitchen staff were able to accommodate me! Nice little gem along 52Street and Dufferin Blvd SE. If you are looking for THE thin crust pizza place, these guys do it right! I will definitely be back!

Little gem in SE Calgary! New location along 52street SE, just north of 114Ave SE. The staff are friendly and kitchen staff was able to my early arrival for pickup! If you love thin crust pizza, this is THE place! Awesome food!
