I just know someone's Abuela is in this kitchen!! The food is incredible, but you'll have to learn that for yourself. This place is so much more than that! I had no idea they existed in the city and I've door dashed from them a few times now. The LOVE, the love that is poured into this food is soooo present. I'm Portuguese, not PR or Ecuadorian, but I swear my Vavo made this meal. I love how our cultures bring us together like that in this city.
Back to the food- YALL THE CINNAMON BUNS!! Finally finally finally, a place with a GOOD cinnamon bun. TRUST ME.
Plus all bakery came warm each time I ordered. I won't bank on that being the norm, and rather me just getting lucky, but shiiiiii nothing hits better than a warm cinnamon bun with a mountain of cream cheese frosting.
The SKIRT STEAK- when I say it was so tender and juicy and flavorful and cooked perfect, HOLY it was close to Godliness. They even cooked my eggs exactly as I asked plus gave me 2 hot sauces when I pestered for 1 on a dish that didn't even come with hot sauce.
THANK YOU to whoever you are, feeding me like I'm your own family. It very much brings be back to a time that no longer exists but I still long for, a time with my own grandmother.
