• 5/21/24Guys, this place is def a hidden gem here in jacksonville, the Carne de Res Guisada / Stew Meat was so tasty, the meat was soft and juicy, also the Chicharrones de Pollo / Dom Style Fried Chicken extremely delicious! Everything in the order was perfect no missing items, the Parcha / Passion Fruit is one of my favorites now, the only thing (small thing) that I can complain about is that the plates doesn't come with habichuelas (beans) like in the actual restaurant and I was a little sad because their beans are also amazing, but out of all, this place is a 10/10!

• 8/22/24I barely eaten in 2 weeks because I had a bad experience w food and lost 16 pounds. Today, it was too much to bare so I bit the bullet and ordered, hoping I would not be disappointed, and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with a heavy portion. Thank you for making it easy for me to eat tonight. ❤️

• 5/14/26Usually the flavors be on point, but for the last 4/5 months it gas been bland. Maybe its a different cook.But its not the same..I had Carne de Res Guisada / Stew Meat this time, the order before was the grilled chickenand before that stew chicken.i usually rotate what I order.Ita all been the same bland.Puerto plata is one off my favorite restaurant..It's just hasn't been hitting lately.
