I'm usually here (Irvine) for 3 days at a time. I drive charter busses - usually, UCSB teams... Every time I'm in town, I eat at Punjabi Tandoor, every day that I'm here! And on the LAST day, I order TWO meals - one to take HOME, and enjoy the NEXT day! That's the TRUTH!

The quantity of food received (the malai kofta amount) is too small for the price. Especially considering other Indian places that also deliver on doordash provide double the quantity of food. The food taste is good but for same price can get more food and same or better taste.

Unbelievably disappointed. -- All meat dried out and overcooked. Inedible. --Need magnifying glass to find onion in the onion kulcha and garlic on nan. At almost $5 bucks each, inexcusable. --The worst veggie korma we've ever had. -- Chicken tikka masala - Again, chicken so dry, inedible. -- Chole (chana masala) - OK -- Saag paneer - OK This was a very expensive meal. We are willing to pay the price if the food is good. This was not worth it at all. Indian food is our favorite food. We have ordered from this restaurant in the past and have been happy. Not now. Never again!!!

12oz Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicke Pakoran takeout sizes are very small. Vegetable Samosa (2 Pieces)are excellent. 16oz Vegetable Biryani was good and size was fair for price.

Mushroom masala came in the smallest possible bowl even though I took a whole dish. They also don't give rice along with the dish so i had ordered separately but that too was a small bowl. The baby sized portion definitely doesn't resonate with the 'punjabi' theme and spirit. Taste was alright but the portions so disappointing I definitely will not order again unless I'm on a strict diet and want a baby meal.
