We love Purple Onion in Soda Works Plaza. Purple Onion is a beloved Los Gatos destination for sumptuous, healthy breakfasts and lunches with their signature, procured coffees. I have lost count of how many great quiches, sandwiches, and bountiful salads I have enjoyed there.
My husband’s favorite is the grass-fed meatloaf sandwich that is out of this world. I also love the Thai turkey sandwich but all the sandwiches are fantastic, big and satisfying.
Everything on the breakfast menu is top notch - creative and delicious. I have cycled through the breakfasts many times by now. We like to sit outside with our rescue mutts and enjoy the epic Los Gatos parade of pedigree pups!
They also have the rare, free, private, and ample, parking lot up above Soda Works Plaza.

Chorizo Burrito (1) is hella good especially toasted. Chorizo is flavorful and the portions are good too. I like the ratios for all the fillings I don't feel like it's all balanced well. Wasn't a fan of the salsa. The Coco-Cold Matcha Latte is very very earthy! Probably real matcha and not the Starbucks kind. I will order again.

Chicken Cabbage Salad is phenomenal. I or usually a salad person but it crispy, fresh, and delicious. Plus the portion was massive and felt worth the price.

Orders are always wrong or missing items. Flatbread was so small and it was layered with some paper where the cheese stuck to it. It was 3.5 very small pieces at best. When it's usually 4. Also know that the menu items are a lot more money when ordering through door dash. Purpose Onion is my favorite place, just not when I order through door dash.

My order was missing the chai latte, and the soup was mostly broth. Very few vegetables. It also came with bread, which I cannot eat (GF).
