• DoorDash orderAbsolutely delicious and worth the price. Good portions and great flavors. The pancit is so good and the lemon slices give it some brightness.

• DoorDash orderWe've ordered here a million times. I love it! Unfortunately, sometimes it's very inconsistent. My fish was over cooked quite a bit and very small this time. The Famous Lumpia | (Crispy Spring Roll) (beef bc they were out of pork ;( ) was a tad over cooked and the Turon | (Plantain Lumpia) were so burnt they tasted of char. Pork belly was delicious as always. All flavors were on point (minus the over cook) I recommend this place in general.

• DoorDash reviewWe chose Purple Root from a list of places that we wanted to try. The restaurant was well decorated and exceptionally clean. We were greeted as soon as we entered by a nice staff member named Alejandra. Alejandra was amazing and patient. She walked us through the ordering process at the kiosk. She answered any questions that we had about the menu items. She was even kind enough to suggest some dishes and desserts. The wait time was minimal. All of the dishes were beautifully plated and tasted simply amazing. My favorite was the dessert, Turon with Ube ice cream. It was out of this world.

• DoorDash orderAvoid.
I’m a natural born American who lives in the Philippines. I have no idea what this dinner is supposed to be. The Sinigang na Hipon (shrimp) was not authentic at all. No resemblance to the real thing. Sadly, not tasty by Filipino or American tastes. The chicken adobo was a strange, only vaguely authentic, version (pineapple?!). The canned coconut water was a sugar substitute “drink”, not even the real thing…from Thailand, no less. Philippine food is excellent, and highly standardized. The chef, said to be Filipino (I’m not convinced), should stop fooling around and do it properly. I promise Americans would then like it. Very, very expensive. My Filipina wife couldn’t eat it. Service was friendly. Major disappointment.

• DoorDash orderAll of the food i've tried so far are all delicious and packed really well. Would recommend for servings to be a bit more larger then it'll be truly worth the price.
