• 12/23/24Couldn't wait to get home and eat. I ordered fish combo with Mac n cheese and yams.Fish is amazing fried just right. The Mac reminds me of my grandmas and yams on point.
My girlfriend go the fried chicken. With same sides. Overall we will definitely spend our money here again. You can tell this food was made with love.

• 3/14/26The Smothered Pork Chop dinner was delicious! Came hot and fresh with great portions. Definitely ordering this again! The Mac was yummy as usual and of course I had t have the yams they are divine!!! Love supporting this lady her cooking is amazing!

• 2/1/26Southern Fried Fish Dinner was out of this world. From the smell to the taste. It even came with a little bottle of hot sauce which was the icing on the cake. The Mac and cheese was some of the best that I have had. All the food was fresh. The portion size was perfect. And I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. I will be ordering again.

But the star of the show is always the candied yams for me! They are heavenly sweet with just the right balance of buttery cinnamon warmth — like nostalgic Sunday dinners that stick with you long after you’ve finished the last forkful. It has a long time since I have tasted food that has reminded me of home. Let's start with the Fried Chicken Wings Tossed in sauce.
1. Bourbon chicken sauce is sweet but not too sweet. The sauce is perfection.
2. The mac and cheese was good but just a pinch dry. I definitely recommend getting it though because it's still taste so good.
3. Collard Greens Beyond beyond delicious. On my second bite my mind went back home beautiful. People need to try the caller greens that is number one.
4. Corn Bread 🍞 Yes, and yes, just get it. Say less (period)
5. Canned Yams 🍠 Off the charts so good. Just a right amount of sugar and cinnamon and sauce.
My overall review is that this place serves greet home cook soul food. If you are homesick and you wanna be reminded of home go here definitely recommend.
