Rakuu pho was out of this world good. Very fresh veggies and the broth was hot with the meat already in it. Love that concept. All of the meats were very flavorfull. Will be ordering here from now on.

The Orange Plates and the Kid Sesame Chicken were horribly dry and tough. Literally, I drank 2 glasses of water just trying to eat half of the orange plate. I know Rakuu, and have been there several times in the past. Usually, it's very good. However, this time, it was very lacking in quality. Additionally, the portion sizes have been greatly reduced. If I'm paying $16 for a plate of food, I expect a full plate of food. Maybe tonight was a fluke. Idk. But I won't be ordering from them for quite awhile.

Best Japanese food in town for an amazing price. My top faves. The crab wontons are a MUST! And the shaggy roll 10/10! Everything is amazing! I recommend adding "fry hard" for the general tso chicken for a crispy outside. I eat here 1-2 a week.

Food was not correct at all, instructions were not followed. The taste was terrible, portion is tiny, freshness, it doesn't even tastes like Pad Thai

I had the Tonkotsu Ramen. I'm very impressed with the very unique flavor of the broth. I believe they put Turmeric which added a nice dimension to the flavor. Although the main difference between this Tonkotsu broth and others I've tried seems to be that this one has waay more umami. It lingers on the tongue a very long time, and it is very delicious. I wonder if they used sake at all to diminish the pork flavor. The egg was boiled to perfection.
The only downside was the fried onions. There were a few pieces that were onion skin, so I had to spit them out.
