More of an old-fashioned donut shop, what sets Ray's apart is the size of their donuts and long Johns specifically. They have lots of variety that will satisfy any member of your family. One of my favorites is the glazed donut holes, which is also a favorite off my young granddaughters.
The donuts are always fresh and taste wonderful..

This is my 2nd time getting the managers special. I always get it super fast, and for the price you get a lot of items. The apple fritter and cinnamon roll are HUGE and amazing, the doughnuts are soft fresh and pillowy. Its like a dream. Me and my coworkers love it

Ray's is classic Kansas City with fantastic fresh-made donuts that will please every member of the family. Ray's doesn't make pretentious foo-foo designer donuts that posers eat. They make all the classic donuts you loved as a kid and they make them better than anyplace in the city.
While my favorites are the plain glazed and blueberry cake, the Apple fritters might rock your world. They are crispy-ish with delicious chunks of real apples and cinnamon and one of them could honestly feed two people or one hungry teenaged boy ... lol.
Nobody in my family can remember ever getting a bad donut from Ray's. I couldn't recommend them higher.

These donuts are so fresh and soft! Melt in your mouth chocolate decadence! The German Chocolate Knot were delicious. My heart and tastebuds favor the white fluff filled chocolate Long Johns Donut! My absolute favorite! No one compares to Ray"s, not even close.

As always, Ray's donuts are fresh and delicious. I have been a customer for 20 years. Ray's reminds me of the old donut shops of my youth in the 60's. The homemade taste, not full of chemicals and additives like the chain donut shops. A small family run business, the best kind to support. Their apple fritters are the best I have ever had anywhere. Their service is impeccable. The donuts are delivered quickly, the box is sealed and in a bag tied at the top so no worry about a driver tampering with the food. Thank you, Ray's for being the best donuts north of the river!
