I should've gotten the ten piece dark, but the chicken was juicy and spicy. And the red beans was bussin

Positive: Large portion. Food arrived hot.
                     Chicken was crispy. Shrimp was        
well cooked and crispy. 
Negative: The chicken had a burnt oil taste. 
                        Red beans tasted like blue  
                         runners.
                         Ice tea tea had a strange flavor.

This place definitely has potential to be a great fried chicken restaurant. The chicken is good but has a old grease aftertaste, the macaroni is terrible needs work, the gumbo is okay, the redbeans  came out of Popeyes kitchen, the rolls and desserts by extension were the best things to eat.

The chicken is crispy & DELICIOUS!!! This may be the best friedchicken I've ever had! WOW, just WOW!!! The Mac n cheese is meh. Sorry, just not really that special, I'll try another side next time, but will definetly order from them again!!! Very crunchy and very flavorful chicken!

The fried chicken itself is rather good, but the gumbo I ordered tasted like burnt gravy with meat added to it. It had no flavor except the taste of burnt, and it smelled burnt as well.  I thought I was mistaken by what I was smelling and tasting, but no, I was not.
