The sushi and sashimi combo was the best sushi I have ever had here at Red Ginger and the best in years- and that says somethingas I worked at an upscale sushibar and folks coming in specifically to have TonySan serve them. The Toro pieces I recieved in my Sushi and Sashimi Combo were so amazing and instructions followed. The Chicken Fried Rice was absolutely perfect super flavorful and generous portion. Man I wish I had more sushi and fried rice right now as I am leaving this review. Whoever was working Saturday Nov 23 - I would love to say thank you in person/come in and have a proper dinner experience if/when you are there. The food literally transported me back to my first time enjoying sushi back home. Thank you and hope to be able enjoy the mastery and delicious food again real soon!!!

So fresh and flavorful- followed instructions / request to upgrade my Sushi and Sashimi Combo (noting that i mentioned I was okay with an upcharge to sub out the Cali Roll from my dinner combo) plentiful ginger provided. The salmon here is always fantastic- some of my favorite things to order. Normally white tuna is one of my least fav but today was absolutely fantastic and so smooth *chefs kiss*
Yellowtail can be a hit or miss, today was okay a bit on the fishier side but thats ok the texture being tender, offers a nice variety to the overall texture profile with the smooth and soft salmons and tuna.
The special rolls and the chicken fried rice will be for supper - the rice is such a great value, huge amount and perfect for cooking up in the skillet. So glad Red Ginger has stuck around inCR as the options for independent, authentic and consistently good- is worth the price as high quality and Authentic Asian cuisine is still growing in the area, and the state due to being a landlocked state, have a greater pressure to provide quality options which leads to wanting to order again and again!!

I always order Sexy Girl Roll and ask for no tobiko in the special requests. This is such a tasty roll, and they do it right every time.The amount of food I received for the order was well worth the money.

Very large portions! Definitely enough for 2 meals. I am glad I settled on the chicken Katsu: it was crispy, extremely tender, and went very well with the sauce they put with it. The salad was your basic salad, iceberg lettuce, carrots and I think 2 cucumber slices, with ranch. The miso soup was DELICIOUS!!
Overall, originally I thought it was expensive, but with the amount we got, it was definitely worth it. 10/10 would buy again. I haven't tried the rolls yet, but they look amazing and smell delicious.

Delicious!!! Everything arrived hot, appetizers were crispy, soups full of flavor, and gorgeous sushi!! Chicken Katsu with white rice was a huge winner with a young teenage boy.
