Had a potluck at work and knew there would be a lot of desserts, so savory it was. My family has been going to Rincon Chileno for over 40 years. People always want to know where it is after tasting the delicious empanadas. Today was the same. Gracias por hacerme quedar bien!

I'm from Southamerica so I'm a big empana girl. The empanadas are big, yes but the cheese is not what I expected. I ordered 4 cheese empanadas and one beef... the veefwas ok but the cheese Empanada De Queso did not fulfill my expectations. I'm not sure if the empana were fried or baked but the dough had more of a bread than a flaky texture, so not a fan. The Flan con Flan con Manjar had an horrible presentation and my and my boyfriend were laughing so hard at it but I still gave ita try and it did not taste like any rich flan I've tasted. It was small and had some manjar spread out all around the container. (I think the make your own quick powder flans tasted way better than this) also, I had a stomach ache after my first bite. If you prefer quantity over quality then go ahead but I'm ot happy):

I had a work potluck so I ordered my favorite, the chicken empanadas and a few beef empanadas in case some doesn't like chicken. They were a hit and several people asked for the restaurant info. I'm glad they're on doorda since they are closed on Mondays and the potluck was on Tuesday.
