I'm conflicted about writing this post but hope it helps the restaurant to make changes. I was so excited to have a Polish Restaurant that delivers here! Coming from a Polish family and having traveled all over Poland, I'm familiar with different variations. Ok they send rolls and every time I have ordered they arrive with butters that are in a bag with them. By the time they get to me in a hot bag full of food, the rolls are dripping wet in butter. I didn't say anything the first time but maybe put the butter in something else and sealed like a little cup. The cucumber for the side is not a brine cucumber like you would expect, they are sweet...gross. The Gołąbki are ok but they are small little portions with a lot of mashed potatoes. The apple in the carrot and onions was not for me. The worst was the Barszcz. It was covered in grease. Why is grease even in red Barszcz? It was full of shredded carrots and whatever liquid, it was terrible with oil and no beet flavor. Packets from the European market even put this to shame. The one thing that was the first and second time is the Bigos a little different variation was simply delicious and the best part of it all. Order this for sure! I would order that all day everyday. The Pączki is also very fresh and delicious. I usually don't like sweets but these, if made right, are so good and this restaurant makes them really well. Loved them. I hope this helps to improve not to be mean because there is so much potential. Also I ordered the potato pierogi in the past and they were also delicious.

I work the night shift, so I really appreciate it when the food comes in an insulated container that keeps it warm since I don’t have access to a microwave. I also prefer meals that are affordable, tasty, and have plenty of meat. I ordered from Plov & Borsh, and honestly, it wasn’t good at all. The only thing I’d order from them again is the shashlik.

The Pierogi with the kapusta is soooo delicious! The Polish Meatballs were super filling and tasty, definitely a good sized meal for the price. Also loved the plum Pączki!

Im still giving 4 stars with the mistakes! I really wanna love this place. I did leave one review in the past about their perogis being soggy and I am not sure if they saw it but this order around was PERFECT! They were so delicious and not soggy at all. This time they had a nice light pan sear on the outside. The flavors wow!
The dill soup was amazing. Warm and hearty. I could eat it on a cold day, warm day, rainy day. It just nurishes the body! I was excited to try dill soup. I was wondering with the dill how much dill would be in it. I didnt know if it would taste like a bowl of pickle juice! !But it didnt, it had the perfect hint. And it's a thick soup which is great.
Here's my only major disappointment, cause you wanna love your dish. Especially when you love a restaurant!!! On my Kielbasa order they didnt provide one of the most important and main ingredients which was the sauerkraut and white beans (kapusta). For me thats like the heart of my kielbasa. It's like ordering a pizza and there's no cheese. Or a polish dog with no toppings. Its just not the same. The perfect bite is the sausage topped with sauerkraut and potatoes! So it was just meat and potatoes.
Also maybe menu pictures arent always accurate but I got excited to try the fresh baked polish bread with smalec spread and it was just a very small, hard and dry dinner roll, It wasnt the bread in the photo nor fresh baked bread at all! Its a roll I believe you can get out of bag from the store, it tasted no different unless it was just old. And i only got a pack of normal butter no polish smear! I really wanted to try that too like in the photo. I read how its made and I was bummed to get plain butter. The pickled veggies were hard but had good flavor. So my main dish was a disappointment.
I do wanna say what i did get was good. The sausage is the best ive had, they didnt lie there and the mash potatoes tasted homemade! Again I just really wish they had all the ingredients listed. I imagined bread I could slice in half and even make a little sandwich bite with. If they dont serve the house made fresh bread in take out they should say. Maybe today it was just a lack of details and not verifying everything is there. Ill still keep trying here though because it is so good! Hopefully my feedback is here just to be friendly and help.
