Spaghetti and Meatballs were excellent; good flavor, nice portion. I would order again! Lemon ricotta cheese cake was also excellent.

I've ordered from this restaurant a few times and the food is consistently hot, fresh, and delicious. The spaghetti pomodoro is rich tomato-y goodness with onions and garlic. Their homemade bread is amazing (and different from the bread that comes with the entrees). Their garlic knots were good too, not oily like others I've had and generously topped with minced garlic. This restaurant is definitely on my rotation!

Sometimes they give you these little rolls for free that are just freaking awesome! They are nice and warm so you can tell it's freshly made. My husband and I order from this place and get the same thing at least once a week and it's always good. However they don't always give you the rolls which stinks and sometimes they aren't warm and soft yet crunchy sometimes they are cold and hard so the rolls part is a toss up but everything else is great plus they are free so you can't really complain about not getting something you didn't pay for ya know? The pastas are great though and my husband and I always have left overs for the following day and it heats up great in the oven when covered with tinfoil at 350 for 12-15 mins!

Love this restaurant. Awesome food. As simple as it sounds, their spaghetti and meatballs is delicious. The tomato sauce is consistently tasty and the meatballs have a great flavor. Top 10 in Newsday for a reason.
Glad to live nearby and be able to support this restaurant. The staff is friendly and the owner a pleasure to speak with.

Venere is one of the best Italian restaurants on Long Island. The Chicken Marsala and Chicken Francese were delicious. Penne ala Vodka is the way it should be. The Homemade Bread is a MUST. The Creme brûlée is perfect.
