When I want Chicken Cracklins Roc Star is where I order. They have NEVER led me astray. I was also in the mood for a Fish Burger /W Fries (although I got red beans and rice). Again, I was a very happy eater. The fish was tasty and not too overpowering, nor was it over seasoned. The size was appropriate for the price. I couldn't have asked for more.
Roc Star is one of a handful of go-to places. I've never had a bad meal from them, regardless of what I choose.

I have been craving catfish and I was not disappointed, it was perfect seasoned just right.The broccoli and cheese was delicious. I am not big on seasoned fries but they were seasoned just right. I have enough left for dinner. One piece of catfish and the broccoli and cheese filled me up.....my first time trying and it will not be my last....Thank you guys....as you can see in the photo it was plated perfectly as well....

What's the best part of fried chicken? The obvious answer is the crispy skin. That's exactly what you get when you order the Chicken Cracklins. They are my favorite item on the menu. There's "just enough" to satisfy without stuffing you and they are ALWAYS freshly cooked to order.
I also got a of Broccoli & Cheese because I quite like broccoli. As far as I'm concerned, Roc Star rocks. Keep up the great work folks!

I have a 'love/hate' relationship with Roc Star. I their food and hate it when I'm finished. (I especially love their cracklins but that's another story for another day.) Today's Smothered Meatballs rice and gravy and 1 side (I chose green beans) was superb. I'm a sucker for meatballs or meatloaf. I was NOT disappointed at all. I'll definitely have it again. There was plenty to eat and it's still worth it.

Roc Star is one of those places I go back to time and time again. They know how to feed a customer. They know how to make them happy and they know how to fill them up.
I wasn't in the mood for my typical Friday fish. They had Smothered beef tips rice and gravy and 1 side on the plate menu. SOLD! I chose mustard greens for the side but got green beans instead. No matter, I've had both before and I like both.
There was a slice of white bread on the plate but it was something I could do without. The meat was tender, the rice was great and the gravy pulled it all together.
As I said, they know how to make me happy.
