I decided to change from my usual and try the Gnocchi Bolognese. Couldn't have been happier. Gnocchi was like little pillows of happiness. My granddaughter had the linguine with clams, my usual go to, and it was loaded with clams. Always great and huge portions.

After trying MANY, I feel Rosalie's Trattoria is the ONLY place for Italian in Wilmington. From the outside it doesn't look like much. We almost drive away the 1st time we pulled in. So glad we didn't though, it's delish! If you love fresh, breaded mozzarella w/a 5' cheese pull, they never disappoint. Anything with their bolagnese sauce will blow your mind. Penne Rustica is always packed with flavor & their tiramisu is the perfect way to end the experience. 1 million times recommended.

Everything at Rosalie's is excellent. The Pollo Parmigiana is perfectly breaded and with the correct amount of cheese. My other favorite is the linguine and clams. It's better than any place in New York City or the north end of Boston.
The Side of Meatballs is an excellent portion especially for the price.
The only mistake you can make here is not getting a reservation. Always packed!

The penne vodka was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked pasta with a creamy, flavorful sauce that had just the right balance of richness and spice. What made the meal even better was the thoughtful touch of three slices of homemade bread on the side. The bread was fresh, soft, and perfect for soaking up every last bit of sauce. A great experience from start to finish, and I’ll definitely be ordering again

As you can see the small salad was HUGE! Their homemade dressing is so good. The fried zucchini is always great.
