Been going here for 20 years off and on, their fish tacos are legendary, and very fresh sundry items. The single size guacamole is plentiful for one compared to what other restaurants offer (and I have been to them all via DD).

Maybe it's just me but Rubios doesn't hit the way it used to. I remember my fish tacos would be stuffed with a big piece of fish and the fixings, they would be falling apart. Now there is barely a piece of fish and a sprinkle of cabbage. Beans were always soooo good and now they taste canned. The authenticity of Rubios is no longer there.

I love Rubios! We usually always order through DD. This store is constantly on fire with order preparation and always gets our side requests (salsas and sides) orders on target. Today was the first time that I ordered the Chic Tortilla Soup and WTH? There's literally a quarter inch of broth! Filled with chips, chicken and a couple of avocado slices. I really wanted some soup. Regardless, the flavor is good, but I wanted to let people know not to expect a broth-like soup.

There was no meat on the Street Tacos! One Corn shell was completely empty of steak, and the other two were very skimpy on the a steak! Food was extremely cold! Only good thing that was still,a little warm was the Mexican Street Corn! Very disappointed, and money poorly spent! NO LIME SLICES WERE SENT EVEN THOUGH I ORDERED THEM!

Always order California Bowl but seems to be getting smaller for the price. ordered today and tasted like a leftover California Bowl was just heated up, cheese was not even melted, rice was little hard. Definitely not fresh.
