Recently rediscovered Rubio's and have tried a few items on their menu, mainly the variations of burritos and tacos. The Ancho Citrus Grilled Shrimp Burrito is probably my favorite on the menu, and the quality always seems to be more fresh with this one compared to other items like the original shrimp burrito.

anywhere you buy tacos and burritos should automatically give you salsa. no salsa added for either Two Taco Mix 'n Match Plate and none for the California Burrito , really? the tacos had the smallest piece of breaded fish each. all I tasted was soggy breading. not with the price. I basically ate a corn tortilla taco stuffed with cabbage. disappointing.

I normally like Rubio's, but the Build Your Own Taco kit order was simply not worth the price. Steak was chewy and bland, a bowl of plain lettuce, couple of tortillas, 2 bland salsas, and beans in a cup so small one kid could finish the whole thing. Would not order again.

The burrito is delicious but it has gotten smaller and smaller. The price paid for a burrito is premium amongst all the other competitors but it feels like I'm being shorted. I love the taste but I'm slowly more and more ordering less. I wonder if other locations have the same issue?

I ordered the Double Protein Bowl. It is 60% rice, one protein is missing, has 3 small slices of avocado and a pinch of everything else. Avoid.
