Ruby May's has been top notch every time I've gone there. So far I've only had their breakfast and it has exceeded my expectations every time. Their food is always hot, fresh and it seems to be cooked to order.
Ruby May's chicken fried steak is the best I've ever had, hands down. I've left full as can be every time I've eaten there and the price is more than reasonable. Staff is friendly, relaxed and quick to notice if you need a refill of your coffee or your table cleared.
I've only ordered once through Doordash but it was all still hot and fresh and delicious.
I've still got to try their lunch menu! I've been eyeing it for a while and if their breakfast is any indication, their lunch/dinner menu will slap too. I love these guys. Thanks for coming out Louisville road, I hope you guys see this. Keep it up.

The Coconut Dream Iced Coffee is so creamy but not overly sweet. The 5pc Catfish is AMAZING! The catfish is so soft and clean, perfectly seasoned. I ordered it with fries and slaw. The slaw was so fresh and crunchy. The fries were tasty. The portion is more than I expected but worth the price! The cornbread, hash brown casserole and Mac n Cheese were okay, tasty but not my preference. Overall I would order the coffee and catfish again. I would like to try some other sides

Country Fried Steak was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. White gravy was seasoned well. Cherry cobbler was excellent. I was very pleased with the entire order. Will definitely order from here again!

The green beans mashed potatoes were not good at all. It tasted like old grease in the beans and I don't know what was wrong with the potatoes. The blackberry pie was greasy as well. I won't go back again. CD
