biscuits were fluffy and perfectly baked, good and flavorful gravy too. The pepper jack grits just had shredded pepper jack thrown on top, and while tasty it was barely a half cup for $4 which seemed over priced to us. Seems like a fair amount if it came with a meal, but this was an additional bite.

overall food was good. portion size did not meet the price. ordered pancakes but they did not send any syrup and also ordered milk and they did not send that. couldn't reach anybody on the phone as they had a automated system and no one was available. pancakes with jelly....mmmm.

Poached eggs were hard boiled. 5$ for 1/3 cup of grits is ridiculous. interesting menu, but the execution sucks.

Pancakes were deeply burnt and black, came without any butter or syrup despite specifically requesting both; across the two eggs Benedict I only received one egg to split between them and the benedict that came with bacon came with a single half-piece; didn't receive the juice I ordered at all.

The Southern BLT was yummy with both regular and fried green tomatoes and the crispy bacon ! The grits were good and creamy and the Spanish Omelet was tasty but could have used a bit more chorizo. All in all a yummy meal on our way out of NOLA.
