Me and my wife ordered from here today (delivery) and we got the Butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, veggie samosas, and garlic naan. Everything arrived hot and delicious the chutneys that came with the samosas were so flavorful. Both currys were creamy, spiced well, and had perfect salt levels. Chicken had a soft but not too soft texture, perfect for the curry. Garlic naan and samosas were both amazing as well

Today I ordered a bunch of different dishes to try Ruchi's out for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Yummy indochinese fried rice, chicken briyani, tandoori chicken, saag with shrimp, lamb, fish and chicken curries. We got to sample a good cross section of the menu and loved every dish. You can ask for preferred heat level, which came in handy with a toodler in the home, who loved the garlic naan, basmati rice, chicken tikka and butter chicken. We are set for meals for the next few days too, which is an added bonus. Generous food portions, fresh ingredients and aromatic and deliciously spiced appertizers and entrees will make Ruchi's our new go-to for yummy Indian in North Houston. I've tried this place 2 times now, tried 6 different menus items and every single thing has been absolutely delicious. I am very new to Indian food so I don't really have anything to compare it to but you can tell they really care about quality here and have put a lot of time and thought into their recipes. Highly recommend the Tikka Masala, Methi curry, Butter Sauce (each comes with a container of rice and the portions are enough to eat off of twice). The Naan is really good as well. I love that you can customize the level of heat each dish has as well. I'm not big on spicy foods, the mild is perfect for me to enjoy a little bit of spice, medium is pushing it a little for me but still enjoyable. . But the best part is I didn't feel gross after I ate it either time the way I do every time I get Mexican or American food. I will definitely be back!

First time order. My teen daughter absolutely loved the butter chicken and said the chicken wasn't gristly or chewy and that it was all white meat. The donut balls were the best tasting things she's ever put in her mouth. I ordered the methi curry and talk about flavor flavor flavor!! She also said mine was "omg the best". She said it was now our go to restaurant for Indian food and I agree!! My teen son who is difficult to satisfy also ate every bite of the medium spiced butter chicken. The garlic naan and butter naan were fluffy and fresh. Everything was fresh, flavorful, well-proportioned (I still have leftovers) and packaged well. Wish it was closer to us is my only wish!

Thefood at Ruchi's is very delicious, easily better than other Indian restaurants other than Amrina. Great value, generous portions. Authentic flavor, and friendly service.
