Ryuu consistently has the BEST quality fish of any sushi restaurant in the area. Absolutely unmatched and love savoring the simpler nigiri options or a rainbow roll as the amazing fish gets a perfect spotlight.

This was the first time we tried Ryuu, but I don't think we will order again. It looked good visually and the avocado in the Avocado Roll seemed fresh. However, everything was extremely fishy, the way it gets when it's old. Not just the Spicy Tuna Roll, which was also falling apart, but the rice around the avocado as well. The only redeeming item was the Shiro Miso Soup, which tasted as expected.

The online ordering sytem through DoorDash has issues. For the Philadelphia roll, it has boxes to tic for avocado and creamcheese but there is no description for the boxes. I thought it meant to include (as, again, there was no description) but came to find out it was to exclude. so my Philadelphia roll ended up as just salmon. Additionally, the miso soup was very pricey (most I've ever paid for miso soup) and there was no tofu in it. I'm sure this place would be better in person, as the easy error would be avoided but it is still pricey. My advice: go in person, don't get the miso soup.

There was an excessive amount of wasabi in the containers. It was all over the sushi and made it unbearable to eat. Very frustrating and would not eat again.
